Now, the kids get off the bus, run home, flip on the tv and beg for hot chocolate. But there are also some great things about the fall season.<br /><br />I love the drive up Provo Canyon on my way to my parents house. The autumn leaves are beautiful right now.<br /><br />I love how everyone gets into the holiday spirit. It seems like October through December is just one party after another.<br /><br />My kids love, love, love decorating for the holidays. They will make holiday pictures and tape them up all over my walls.<br /><br />And I love the fall harvest. My garden got a late start this year, but it was so fun to see my garden grow. We had tomatos, green beans, squash, zuchinni and pumpkins. My kids even got into it and were so excited every time they discovered something new growing in the garden.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_y7btBTcI6hO0rk_yRLsUyql1SnOafjaLCcvHSclftObpB8LbSmuFGTyGhx-vQp8Va_13LhEupJZi5xHIV8h8j0gm6gWjxQ6KlikDVGPpvpRZljWJIJUgge0d8P57sihjv1yzoEnLFJLI/s1600-h/oct6.2009+001.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 239px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5389698370280054018" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_y7btBTcI6hO0rk_yRLsUyql1SnOafjaLCcvHSclftObpB8LbSmuFGTyGhx-vQp8Va_13LhEupJZi5xHIV8h8j0gm6gWjxQ6KlikDVGPpvpRZljWJIJUgge0d8P57sihjv1yzoEnLFJLI/s320/oct6.2009+001.jpg" /></a>Who says you need to buy your kids a new drum set.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTPjbKUZaRfu1IZ3_r5BKTyWGMHLH3bnCoJUw-j1cFotnNFAXR2si3IQ6lxkBKqHP-hqmD1ev_NHzJkbjLLYgYnywJ5Q1Lxrf3Zp0ItYaM7sWQpHYmRi82Xyw4nLwhZA4QTw2uV4EZCAff/s1600-h/oct6.2009+010.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 239px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5389698356563270530" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTPjbKUZaRfu1IZ3_r5BKTyWGMHLH3bnCoJUw-j1cFotnNFAXR2si3IQ6lxkBKqHP-hqmD1ev_NHzJkbjLLYgYnywJ5Q1Lxrf3Zp0ItYaM7sWQpHYmRi82Xyw4nLwhZA4QTw2uV4EZCAff/s320/oct6.2009+010.jpg" /></a><br />Brin celebrated her fourth birthday in September. He used an analogy of a snake, where he taught us that we need to stay away from the snake (sin). To help us stay safe we should read the scriptures nightly. As a family, we have set this as a new goal. Our little miss Brin now believes that if we miss a night of reading the scriptures a snake will get us. </div><div></div><div>Steve had a business trip recently and missed a night of reading the scriptures with us. I'm not going to make any promises. </div><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></div><div></div></div></div></div>Cortneyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06725391344615977123noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253905384842344568.post-75134627189010194582009-08-27T12:58:00.000-07:002009-08-27T13:52:32.901-07:00One Crazy SummerWhat a crazy summer this has been for me and my family. We started off the summer with plans to spend a weekend at Lake Powell with my family. We had a great time...but, like most of our other trips to Lake Powell, we always return home with an injury. This time (like most times) it was Steve's turn to be hurt. So if you want the real story keep on reading. If you want Steve's version, you will have to give him a call. We had decided to explore one of the many canyons found at Lake Powell. We got out of the boat and climbed a rock wall to get up on to a plateau area. Up on top there was a little pond of water. The kids were loving our new water spot when Steve decided to scale another rock wall (that was much steeper) to see what was up there. He went exploring for a while and then came back to realize he needed to somehow get down.<br /><br />We all could see how tempted he was to jump into this small body of water, but like the cautious wife I am, I encouraged him to climb back down. Well, without another thought he had jumped off the 15 foot wall and into the water. When he came up out of the water he was in a lot of pain. I immediately accused him of teasing us... Until he lifted his right foot out of the water and I could see it was severly injured. (For your sake I will not get graphic).<br /><br />Now we had all the kids and an injured man up this canyon and we knew he would not be able to walk back to the boat. Luckily we had two of my Brother-in-laws with us that were a big help to Steve. After finally getting everyone back into the boat we had a 3 hour boat ride back to shore where Steve could get help. On the way back into the dock the wind began blowing really hard, making huge waves in the lake. Needless to say, it was probably one of the worst rides back into shore for everyone on that boat, especially Steve.<br /><br />Finally we get to the urgent care in bullfrog only to find out that they don't have an ex-ray machine. The doctor looks at Steve's foot and determines that he has only dislocated his ankle bone. They plan to sedate him and pop the bone back into place. It takes 3 doctors to pop his ankle back into place... and a lot of pain for Steve (which luckily he can't remember).<br /><br />Afterwards, the doctors put Steve in a boot and tell him that he will be walking on it the next day. So Steve and I go back to our campground, put him in bed and decide to finish out our vacation. The next day, Steve still can't walk and is in just as much pain as he was the day before, but Steve is determined to let us stay the rest of the weekend on our trip.<br /><br />Poor Steve spent the next two days being dragged around on a bumpy boat and sleeping in a tent... What a trooper!<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 299px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374737161798769666" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgju7LLrtEsaEAkoncp2uxqot11K0FG2EZUOu5dKwVg0lS6yyngjbVIofWalXpqOVIcnmdDtjLpYXwoXuBf_CG_X-p3Ijp7X1L6_BKO2qBfMFC50wau5CBO6Y4LFblibLn-G31azEv7dSSp/s400/Lake+Powell+%2709.jpg" /><br />We finally get Steve to a doctor on Monday (the injury happed on Thursday). And the ex-rays show 3 broken bones and several dislocated bones, torn ligaments and tendants along with the severe bruising and fracture blisters all over his foot and up his leg. It was one huge mess.<br /><br />Due to all of the swelling, he was not able to go into surgery for another week. So again he sits with a damaged foot for another long week and weekend.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQigzI2HgSl2CCr2abyNwYpngDUUCuVEnQ6CuwSiBOeAVWoKSwZGyUqaKCHpEgZVO0SNtUOdB2_u9jU-QME2o2CnT3EBoSBHYVse_28Y5InKVYuo42OGFvZB-8FCBBjMy4oMu5V1oB5Hba/s1600-h/Front+Cast.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 299px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374737177468758098" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQigzI2HgSl2CCr2abyNwYpngDUUCuVEnQ6CuwSiBOeAVWoKSwZGyUqaKCHpEgZVO0SNtUOdB2_u9jU-QME2o2CnT3EBoSBHYVse_28Y5InKVYuo42OGFvZB-8FCBBjMy4oMu5V1oB5Hba/s400/Front+Cast.jpg" /></a> The outcome of the surgery was 3 internal screws and 2 external pins, no driving for 8 weeks, no walking for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks he can drive and walk as long as he is wearing a specific boot for driving and walking.<br /><br />It is now August 27th. As of last week, he can drive (yippeee!). All I can say is, it is easy to take for granted your health until you are faced with something like this. It has been a huge struggle for us all, but we have come out of this just fine. The kids have all stepped up to help out, especially our little Brook. We are so thankful that it was ONLY his foot, he could have easily been paralized. We are so thankful that he is ok and that in a couple of months will hopefully be feeling better.<br /><br />We still have until the middle of October to wait for the internal screws to come out. Then he should be able to walk and drive again without a boot. Until then, I am threatening Steve to do everything that the Dr tells him to do. And no more acting like he is 19 again.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1vF1WwWRG08NEZ5rJEZRA6v8sPlgJ2K7G6q_1rZ8go2bhORJfEZHPfeyc95FIbdPvFAWv745wcBlTI3K4vp6G7P16qIzLNliEdsQNXcJFMDat6LSLF0ekAbYTaujsOno3HFZiXkdoil09/s1600-h/Father's+Day+%2709.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 299px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374737167284556770" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1vF1WwWRG08NEZ5rJEZRA6v8sPlgJ2K7G6q_1rZ8go2bhORJfEZHPfeyc95FIbdPvFAWv745wcBlTI3K4vp6G7P16qIzLNliEdsQNXcJFMDat6LSLF0ekAbYTaujsOno3HFZiXkdoil09/s400/Father's+Day+%2709.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Cortneyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06725391344615977123noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253905384842344568.post-28277802315663453602009-03-31T21:14:00.000-07:002009-03-31T21:45:55.199-07:00March MadnessIf you ever wonder what my two younger kids do while Brook is at school, here is a good idea. Some days they are a little more creative then others. Today they decided to put on their "Masks" and play cops and robbers. I guess I need to invest in some real masks. It is fun to see them play so well together.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh82z2FjZ__3aAKYORRmCWFw0LnfPV36DAouKTydR6RVzmh6Z31WcUaCx5IYN8MmzbNJvuC46_TC4eOvB1veStV_3TbOmVLeFLoNM3XIPugloUI6K_T84HUei_bxOaxI2d7qspPG0nr0Qqz/s1600-h/brooks+bday+2009+013.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319573315854839458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 299px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh82z2FjZ__3aAKYORRmCWFw0LnfPV36DAouKTydR6RVzmh6Z31WcUaCx5IYN8MmzbNJvuC46_TC4eOvB1veStV_3TbOmVLeFLoNM3XIPugloUI6K_T84HUei_bxOaxI2d7qspPG0nr0Qqz/s400/brooks+bday+2009+013.jpg" border="0" /></a>Our oldest daughter turned 7 this month. I can't believe how big my kids are getting. Birthdays give me the opportunity to brag about my amazing kids... So here it goes. I absolutely adore Brook! She is such a sweet and sensitive girl. She loves to read, go to school, dance, sing, act and says that when she grows up she is going to be a singer (like Carrie Underwood), act (like Gabriella on High School Musical), dance (like all the girls on Dancing with the Stars) and be a mom (like me). She is so creative and fun to be with. She is so good to her brother and sister, and her brother and sister love her so much. I could not have asked for a more beautiful girl (inside and out). She is my sweetheart.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2lXItG5KanADbjt4s5WiWkmCyPHPyL71oSHLqC0mMQf-_qHIdW_Jz-S46wOsYQI5DFD_tbNUHyZQtCyJEIbpthIf_dKH50bS8rz-8PIVaRn_3eiVF8wQZ-YHq0PJvTFRi5IxemwKtYOkK/s1600-h/brooks+bday+2009+024.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319573315810822818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2lXItG5KanADbjt4s5WiWkmCyPHPyL71oSHLqC0mMQf-_qHIdW_Jz-S46wOsYQI5DFD_tbNUHyZQtCyJEIbpthIf_dKH50bS8rz-8PIVaRn_3eiVF8wQZ-YHq0PJvTFRi5IxemwKtYOkK/s400/brooks+bday+2009+024.jpg" border="0" /></a> Brook gets up so early in the morning, but she knew that our family has the tradition to serve the birthday person breakfast in bed. So she stayed in bed as long as she could... but got a little bored, so she decided to go play with her brother and sister. She kept on checking on me and the breakfast. When I finally had breakfast ready, Brook ran up the stairs and hopped back in bed and anxiously waited until we all came up singing happy birthday to her with her food.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivVDjs_rgvUjsRK79QYTKoUmKLvF3tNPn_gMsD0ePnH5I_-I2HR2f0tbXAe_6UL5gxSW13H8F_EQHvCB9qwY2TL6kRZAyHKiqoNgEAW6I3HfvZvAShgEo_vOMHMqieWK9sK-2fBCXFQ3z9/s1600-h/brooks+bday+2009+027.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319573309712930594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivVDjs_rgvUjsRK79QYTKoUmKLvF3tNPn_gMsD0ePnH5I_-I2HR2f0tbXAe_6UL5gxSW13H8F_EQHvCB9qwY2TL6kRZAyHKiqoNgEAW6I3HfvZvAShgEo_vOMHMqieWK9sK-2fBCXFQ3z9/s400/brooks+bday+2009+027.jpg" border="0" /></a> She got to open a couple of cards and gifts before school, one of which was from her Grandma Jody who is on her mission... She took the gift card and got herself a Gabriella barbie and the barbie bedroom set. We are now at the end of March, and Brook each night takes Gabriellas shoes off her feet and tucks the Barbie into bed. It is pretty cute.<br /></div><div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigz99vKb0uLu6qJ9T49vL2uwL9O6Ucbe4ovnKg0gXr_NtWh5kQUHIqrigGOQFFaSlbElhEC3l069RX8ew8FzkLrqowzLUBE3tAIDgayZ3h6xmlrPoPaiYeZDvGOBQi7bOr0zhmEMwFen7p/s1600-h/brooks+bday+2009+031.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319573298543273170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigz99vKb0uLu6qJ9T49vL2uwL9O6Ucbe4ovnKg0gXr_NtWh5kQUHIqrigGOQFFaSlbElhEC3l069RX8ew8FzkLrqowzLUBE3tAIDgayZ3h6xmlrPoPaiYeZDvGOBQi7bOr0zhmEMwFen7p/s400/brooks+bday+2009+031.jpg" border="0" /></a> Brook has decided to forget about the cute decorated birthday cakes... Our kids (mostly the oldest) is always so excited for every holiday and has come to expect a day full of fun and gifts. We have made a decision to try to eliminate a lot of the extras and just try to make it a simple and fun holiday. So for Valentine's Day, I decided to send the kids on a scavenger hunt around the house. There were several clues that would lead them to different spots but before they could get their next clue they would have to give each other hugs or say something nice about each other, or in the picture below they were to hold hands to the next destination.... Valentine's is all about love... right! <div> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319567455034298642" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqUI5VUQwc9SGJDWVVsc7ALvEFRGAGMKm5P-6g6C4ISTbFs0gk3gMCazImD2GOY4vDwj6wpJHzjrm4LqMCJPcaKuNC_7xlI4seeATfasy-dG25iQ1ztPgz58nwndF8dE7OA3JIDwy8c154/s400/brooks+bday+2009+004.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>They all had a blast finding all the clues. One of their favorites was running out to the mailbox to find a letter for them... They love getting their own mail. </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319567452189675234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-b9dyOJRwJyQpsqkIHsDgAlPOMPDB7OA6C9nqDGbV8V928kg_MFXUf0qoPCOAQRIXUbs68DQcvyUnzZYfhHA87KzZ8_AF1Gz3B0-J9ictdG6QG5PKwtjbizeR0pcxlLDFQ4pcHai1zSOH/s400/brooks+bday+2009+007.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>At the end of the hunt, there was a poem and a box of donuts for them. We went to bed last night as the snow begin falling.... we woke up to the snow STILL falling and by 4:oo pm we had 11 inches of snow! Steve was outside shoveling our driveway for 4 hours (Thanks babe!) and finally gave up because there was just nowhere else to pile the snow. I should have taken a picture of the piles of snow. Our kids were so excited to get out there and play. They could care less that it was <strong>freezing cold</strong> and that they are already sick with coughs.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicLDRcCQ-8Jfjr-8i5WrTMjCOtroF6GnXXQcuHKd6ZwsXXxEPiNxINSPQzV5i3rVwNW5fRYdSTuljN9nf-yqhEk1hDJmVJrVRylTms6MmLqz1oSiBFJKZopesfGuxKd6yIdnJ1iYWllXk_/s1600-h/snow08+012.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282842619985543362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 299px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicLDRcCQ-8Jfjr-8i5WrTMjCOtroF6GnXXQcuHKd6ZwsXXxEPiNxINSPQzV5i3rVwNW5fRYdSTuljN9nf-yqhEk1hDJmVJrVRylTms6MmLqz1oSiBFJKZopesfGuxKd6yIdnJ1iYWllXk_/s400/snow08+012.jpg" border="0" /></a> Brook and Brin getting in some sister bonding time. She has always been like this. Every picture we have of her and Santa she is crying or clinging on to someone for dear life. This year, she didn't even want Santa to bring her anything because she is so afraid. But every year, despite her fear Steve and I force her to do the unthinkable. <br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3bV8LZpwvps1WMA3wrqjGs8f4B2jU6I4eitzLrokHxzZF4rGuZABmDXvmAbKI3509i3RNE6p25iu9-DhyhIAFKzOCJBZUxGLBLAC6MhYlFck00S1v0PWbihENPwUljTR-XeUFqIDz1dyb/s1600-h/snow08+003.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282842601517109490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 299px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3bV8LZpwvps1WMA3wrqjGs8f4B2jU6I4eitzLrokHxzZF4rGuZABmDXvmAbKI3509i3RNE6p25iu9-DhyhIAFKzOCJBZUxGLBLAC6MhYlFck00S1v0PWbihENPwUljTR-XeUFqIDz1dyb/s400/snow08+003.jpg" border="0" /></a> Braden was really cute this year with his Santa list. He also didn't want anything from Santa, not because he was afraid, he just didn't want anything. At pre-school, his teacher had all the kids make a card to Santa. She helped them write what they wanted. Braden's letter says "I just want to give you a card. Merry Christmas Santa!"<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD3t8AuOI68Ba7jmXPEkkMprixKnykVqEQOucMlbTYH8wYEYqODsgimC-fagCzWScCTt6VwhiYgoICefp0yBqzVM6bF54ZdjtF_EZQE_uf3yL0o58CMWCJz1C0G3GdTJ4ymKeQE-y21ffh/s1600-h/snow08+004.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282842597699075618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 299px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD3t8AuOI68Ba7jmXPEkkMprixKnykVqEQOucMlbTYH8wYEYqODsgimC-fagCzWScCTt6VwhiYgoICefp0yBqzVM6bF54ZdjtF_EZQE_uf3yL0o58CMWCJz1C0G3GdTJ4ymKeQE-y21ffh/s400/snow08+004.jpg" border="0" /></a> Brooklynn LOVES Santa! It was so much fun to be around all the family. Steve's sister Jana and her family came up from AZ, along with Grandma Jody. Steve's brothers; Bill, Brian and Joe live in Idaho so we were only missing John and his family. We had a blast going to movies, going out to eat, making several trips to the grocery stores, playing games and just watching the kids play with each other.<br /><br />To make the weekend even better, Bill and Jeanna were sealed in the temple to their adopted son Trent (and of course, my daughter throws-up that morning so I get to stay home with her and miss this great event). We are so happy for them and excited to have Trent as a nephew and cousin. <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmKH_3dzUgFAblea5qMQX38_JL4c_vtIiwLMCs33L56-kopA-tytHYFy6i9QdO3no1JEjMq4CqkIXpRDDB5feziq86yIU4Z2590G5LACDrhrYKqXM87c8p9jov90_yzFiQW33730zLxjat/s1600-h/thanksgiving+013.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5281685106309692882" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 299px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmKH_3dzUgFAblea5qMQX38_JL4c_vtIiwLMCs33L56-kopA-tytHYFy6i9QdO3no1JEjMq4CqkIXpRDDB5feziq86yIU4Z2590G5LACDrhrYKqXM87c8p9jov90_yzFiQW33730zLxjat/s400/thanksgiving+013.jpg" border="0" /></a> <div>Who goes swimming in Idaho during Thanksgiving? Seriously, I swear it has not been that long since I last posted anything. Well, I have a lot of catching up to do... so here it goes! </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>We celebrated Brin's third birthday. She is getting so big! I really can't believe my baby is 3! We never have a dull moment with this kid. I'm telling you she has more curiosity, crazy ideas and funny sayings than any other child I know. </div><div> </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258721413278792594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjviqu3tKv4sjQS4wK_hjK42dkWjeCy1UY1GegoJYQIXuKTvfzHUinUiRXjBWkko1ZVl4rjA1Xb2nhGclJJHbmTYD1WQMdImUiNMbeMvXfwVKZzixsdYgvK-kncDIUUm5AFthd0z0WlP0qK/s320/october2008+127.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><div>The other day, Steve told Brinley that if she started wiping her own bottom that we would take the family to Disneyland. Well, Brinley has not forgotten, infact, she lets everyone know how awesome she is. Someone rang our doorbell the other day and Brinley stood at the top of the stairs and yelled down to the person at the door "hey guess what, I wiped my own bum!" She was so proud... All I can say is Daddy better fulfill his part of the bargain. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Another new event is that we decided to put our house up for-sale! It has not been a fun process. I am not one for surprise visits and so luckily we sold our home pretty quick. Only about 50 days of being on the market we got an offer and we decided to take it. Both Steve and I are sad about this move. We are really going to miss our ward and neighbors, but we know that this is the right decision. Luckily, we found a home to rent in the neighborhood for the next little while until we can decide where our next move will be.... (this is still in debate:)) </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258721416550085922" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" height="241" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX5YL9mKENFCwG86KJkkyj1UrASFXGI-RJWDtV2UfRwT_rKNk_k7FQMXc0l2bQjByZqhGelOD2L17tEER7oR2bEVXbqNKtKull1uUta-4MmFHtN41v2K4QR41v6OYUPppVs4YSb7-OoBMv/s320/yellowstone+084.jpg" width="320" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Lastly, to my dismay, Utah has already seen its first snowfall. My kids were in Heaven! They have so much fun playing... or I should say, eating the snow. I love sitting in my warm cozy home where I can peek out the window at my kids playing in the snow. They are so entertaining. It brings back so many good memories of me and my siblings spending our days out in the snow. </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258721434075074354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgr777wN7Dy2GXuiLGtHBnx8JUcS8MYz1kKd8xBgUJlg-WiqLHeHbCIkdxaj_Hnrkr-Hkn5LhOea8PABSYnwlkBs4cBS9CWK8kAw9hJEK7V9SpykJFn5SrJw3pje8f1wqL2CbSdMVuyLR4j/s320/october2008+121.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258721425530205250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSn6TJe_-0pdqIf5xVGE8_iBZm6PGt1n3ch09X21ePkLaqhJGHB853qPcWedO0eR4zvosKuqGzut-uvI8nNPL6udbfNYSMtIX0A1xRIRBSSSNiRtlg0x_QBLmc_4FsXP5eV0efvmTR3qzW/s320/october2008+118.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Thanks for not giving up on me. We had a blast! We only wish we could have stayed longer. Here are a few pictures of our adventures.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAyQIxVqTKwC0uJ-uHq1osELHFb5UjI7ElPLmzg_vQkCBGXIKfUHqtv6GM5xYrOAxgGJXEObZdgMGhDVBLQCDQZ5-pLur3PIjdkAL9T_PeVPzLatWgwF4EERroexfLL0oG5lv8HsBcggJu/s1600-h/yellowstone+019.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237483793545912802" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAyQIxVqTKwC0uJ-uHq1osELHFb5UjI7ElPLmzg_vQkCBGXIKfUHqtv6GM5xYrOAxgGJXEObZdgMGhDVBLQCDQZ5-pLur3PIjdkAL9T_PeVPzLatWgwF4EERroexfLL0oG5lv8HsBcggJu/s400/yellowstone+019.jpg" border="0" /></a> Steve and the kids had never been to Yellowstone. We walked around through the geyers and even got to see Old Faithful.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix_Qii0gmXbTcurhz4Y6Df_3GaX3Si1Plf4uFVmJw9iVKEyPmlSSXZWQ_dHjhP3EGxIUC7EBL67h_XjdifTThbPHMrZOP9dftU7cBYX8z1EpU9XnphgwGWFtHEK_oY7qliC3P1RvGY2c38/s1600-h/yellowstone+042.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237483797060739026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix_Qii0gmXbTcurhz4Y6Df_3GaX3Si1Plf4uFVmJw9iVKEyPmlSSXZWQ_dHjhP3EGxIUC7EBL67h_XjdifTThbPHMrZOP9dftU7cBYX8z1EpU9XnphgwGWFtHEK_oY7qliC3P1RvGY2c38/s400/yellowstone+042.jpg" border="0" /></a> We went through a passage in Yellowstone that was full of Buffalo. We spent a lot of time watching them. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP-B1cwGGiOYKNGp6H7GyW6-YZMvKp4iwFD3qhrMVNElz3o4uZtq3haVSM1E3ml6IywR3aSKapHUd_VQvlp20Bsnluveb0yWkaw3zd7HrHrcduvj6ktLG5oiC29JQzJ6GKrl8Q1e1hJ7s8/s1600-h/yellowstone+044.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237483806502060898" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP-B1cwGGiOYKNGp6H7GyW6-YZMvKp4iwFD3qhrMVNElz3o4uZtq3haVSM1E3ml6IywR3aSKapHUd_VQvlp20Bsnluveb0yWkaw3zd7HrHrcduvj6ktLG5oiC29JQzJ6GKrl8Q1e1hJ7s8/s400/yellowstone+044.jpg" border="0" /></a> I'm telling you, the buffalo were everywhere. They would just stop traffic and not let anyone pass. These two buffalo stayed in that position for at least a half an hour. I guess when you are in there territory, they are in charge.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV8hfftZ_q_x-qCP0-q2CzCoNkYE7JSFUKhQ_RWRnLLgrbpqbB5mcD3V1qsdLeN0Ws6ngZxdQOn_SS-HUE4yhhkTuoX6U0LcqB9XD1pl0FdlvOsT4Ko3ympUbF8rGj0bY1MX2m2P3Z_0xn/s1600-h/yellowstone+030.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237483815867388178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV8hfftZ_q_x-qCP0-q2CzCoNkYE7JSFUKhQ_RWRnLLgrbpqbB5mcD3V1qsdLeN0Ws6ngZxdQOn_SS-HUE4yhhkTuoX6U0LcqB9XD1pl0FdlvOsT4Ko3ympUbF8rGj0bY1MX2m2P3Z_0xn/s400/yellowstone+030.jpg" border="0" /></a> We were able to see a few different waterfalls. They were beautiful! Here is a family picture of us at one of the tops of the falls.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMTmpXs28grMSwwnTonlRL_AfOsi6sfaZ_yza6b4zXT95OYKcfwS-fJ1TN3NFtcLi2jVSof5eYvoDogTgKre5niTOSFm8ZBi__oglbRiYfmdj89jyubYMwmz_wBTm-3J-duKPVOxDrzca_/s1600-h/yellowstone+047.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237483815992216370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMTmpXs28grMSwwnTonlRL_AfOsi6sfaZ_yza6b4zXT95OYKcfwS-fJ1TN3NFtcLi2jVSof5eYvoDogTgKre5niTOSFm8ZBi__oglbRiYfmdj89jyubYMwmz_wBTm-3J-duKPVOxDrzca_/s400/yellowstone+047.jpg" border="0" /></a> And here we are again with the buffalo. This time the buffalo were right in front of us. We had a blast watching them... Until... they turned around and started coming right towards our car. Both Steve and I got a little nervous and all three kids were in the back just crying their eyes out. It played chicken with us for a long time just standing right in front of our van, starring us down. Finally it walked right next to the drivers side of the car and went on its way. By then we were all happy to be leaving the buffalo's territory.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUnSMfio-Z_8LQODaRccZMvJsyr4IDT7rrwlOOdVnCm1Tx45O3vV5Ybanz3DGQ7trOvMscNgHKalpdRtwCo-VFHA3zz4JHkaUFXAHVkNcyUB9EqGxJKI8VNOFDo7RiLWColcjRZsSZrjXv/s1600-h/yellowstone+036.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237481455679846450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUnSMfio-Z_8LQODaRccZMvJsyr4IDT7rrwlOOdVnCm1Tx45O3vV5Ybanz3DGQ7trOvMscNgHKalpdRtwCo-VFHA3zz4JHkaUFXAHVkNcyUB9EqGxJKI8VNOFDo7RiLWColcjRZsSZrjXv/s400/yellowstone+036.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMAwAXUgPQ7h72K-ms0h9BW64Y-a7ktmrL79e-orMt4un5IQXJYlymJEVDScC0ebKAfY8SyZ-PVE9dJ31-4isbvE3lAEB7FPLcxdFtUWnS1Ktu5ZQ5HEbElUMCOay-rNTIw2ML1de-mBni/s1600-h/yellowstone+016.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237481460336269650" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMAwAXUgPQ7h72K-ms0h9BW64Y-a7ktmrL79e-orMt4un5IQXJYlymJEVDScC0ebKAfY8SyZ-PVE9dJ31-4isbvE3lAEB7FPLcxdFtUWnS1Ktu5ZQ5HEbElUMCOay-rNTIw2ML1de-mBni/s400/yellowstone+016.jpg" border="0" /></a> At one of our picnic spots, the kids found this teeter-totter log. The Sip-n-slide!<div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>With the weather being hot and the kids getting bored, Brook and her friend decided that it might be fun to try to sell some lemonade. We have tried hard to cram in as many things as possible and I think, so far, we have done a pretty good job! Steve's side of the family all got together in St. George, where we spent the week swimming, golfing and playing with cousins. In the middle of the week, Braden had a birthday. She definately is a performer. We have to bribe her a little, but if you tell Brook that you will buy her a treat if she smiles and does her best... she will not let you down. Brook plays for the city of Lehi and Braden plays for Saratoga Springs. Lately, the kids games have been overlapping, so we have had to split up. We have had a blast watching these kids learn about the game. For the first few games, all the kids on the field would run after "every" ball whether it was near them or not. Then they would tackle each other to see who would end up with the ball. Other kids would hit the ball and instead of running to base, they would run after their own ball, pick it up, and take it to the base with them. We have had quite a few laughs.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPIztrU5EXXY8HT8YS9PlypYqdWjJQInsX405jPMoGN6HcDM_lrddhyphenhyphenxVviu_AJqUlGwYWT5ZNy3gL3NaYNIVsa4vxPaWby6hVU2_rfDqYcaylGzhyphenhyphenzqZDQTjRrBCeN2KdtiThk0EkSmIA/s1600-h/st+george+067.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220854234166358050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPIztrU5EXXY8HT8YS9PlypYqdWjJQInsX405jPMoGN6HcDM_lrddhyphenhyphenxVviu_AJqUlGwYWT5ZNy3gL3NaYNIVsa4vxPaWby6hVU2_rfDqYcaylGzhyphenhyphenzqZDQTjRrBCeN2KdtiThk0EkSmIA/s320/st+george+067.jpg" border="0" /></a> Braden is the youngest on his team. The cut-off date was the week of his 4th birthday, so he barley made it. He was a little nervous at first but it has not taken long for him to get comfortable. Although there are several times when he gets a little bored and will sit down on the field and start picking the grass right in the middle of the game. One time he was playing second base, he decided to take a break so he sat down on the base. The ball was hit near him but he didn't budge. The player at first ran to second... he still didn't budge. He was just enjoying the cushion I guess. <br /><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div>Cortneyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06725391344615977123noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253905384842344568.post-26360121064312075862008-05-19T21:31:00.000-07:002008-05-19T22:17:16.559-07:00New Happenings<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAVcY3O4wtsBqKs6e8om9L0UnUgZTHKkbir-D1ewQjrMkX4yb_WV48FpqDJGz8Hm_K0cDpPzpP_tZXoNXrLULEOxLuT9HeOjRy0pHlmPKVDsbAeJqvq-LaLzsnaDPnv3wi9TrwHqY8AV3u/s1600-h/lost+tooth+007.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5202316623569399058" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAVcY3O4wtsBqKs6e8om9L0UnUgZTHKkbir-D1ewQjrMkX4yb_WV48FpqDJGz8Hm_K0cDpPzpP_tZXoNXrLULEOxLuT9HeOjRy0pHlmPKVDsbAeJqvq-LaLzsnaDPnv3wi9TrwHqY8AV3u/s400/lost+tooth+007.jpg" border="0" /></a> We finally have lost our first baby tooth! When the lights go out, the mischief begins. Brin can act very tired right up until that light is turned off, then the light in her head turns on. She begins her ritual of getting out of bed, a hundred times. Usually she is very sneaky and will just sit somewhere in the house where she can see Steve or myself. As you can see in this picture, she found her sitting spot in the middle of our stairs. this is a perfect place to sneak a peak at our TV downstairs. Who knows how long she sat here before she finally dozed off.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi49qRDw1USDNTp9hr8jEXAHqnTIvOqlICKSR2YL1k5ICDKmKLj3iLbFk3qY164iNuh1pESKllsyYzjqD0nlRGKHVMTQmI7UEiXWu_S6fOMRD8bXZhUabgmtxceNOxs8t8ncFA3HZVNBNl7/s1600-h/snake+001.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5202316636454300978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi49qRDw1USDNTp9hr8jEXAHqnTIvOqlICKSR2YL1k5ICDKmKLj3iLbFk3qY164iNuh1pESKllsyYzjqD0nlRGKHVMTQmI7UEiXWu_S6fOMRD8bXZhUabgmtxceNOxs8t8ncFA3HZVNBNl7/s400/snake+001.jpg" border="0" /></a> So the other day I decided to do some weeding. Not long after I started weeding, I found an odd looking hollow egg. It was the same size as a chicken egg but different in texture. I started doing some research and found out that some snakes lay eggs. I panicked of course, and the first thing I thought of is "thats it I am selling this house"! Imediately, I stopped weeding and have not touched my backyard since then.<br /><br />A week later, we are out having a barbeque, and there it is, a new baby snake right by my back stairs. After looking on the Internet forever, I found a snake very similair to the one I found. I am pretty sure it is a bull snake. They get to be about 6 feet long and 2 inches thick. They look lots like a rattlesnake and even mimick some of the same things rattlesnakes do when they feel in danger. But the good thing is (if there is a good thing) they are not poisionous! But still, who wants a batch full of baby snakes in your back yard. I am still considering the for sale sign!Cortneyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06725391344615977123noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253905384842344568.post-38778343552097451012008-04-30T14:58:00.000-07:002008-04-30T15:29:51.549-07:00Our Carribean Cruise<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjlcLwfxIKFMDWdo_KKdVv7jl2KXmkyP0kMguct1wLqZuvPRYZSGd3iSfCz7VHJlpkTjHgfBmuLk9Ue51kipyuCopyBdYYjeHtNlVHYEMjzC1vnBncksS9D0ENt2fb7no7Ij9fHK2cz4mw/s1600-h/carribean+004.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195163163831750914" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjlcLwfxIKFMDWdo_KKdVv7jl2KXmkyP0kMguct1wLqZuvPRYZSGd3iSfCz7VHJlpkTjHgfBmuLk9Ue51kipyuCopyBdYYjeHtNlVHYEMjzC1vnBncksS9D0ENt2fb7no7Ij9fHK2cz4mw/s320/carribean+004.jpg" border="0" /></a> Steve and I just got back from an amazing trip, with my parents to the Southern Carribean. We went on a cruise which started in San Juan, Puerto Rico and went to five other islands including: St Thomas, St Kitts, Grenada, Bonaire and Aruba. We could not have asked for a better week. This first picture is of St Johns (as sister Island to St. Thomas) This is a beautiful spot called Trunk Bay where we went snorkeling. It was so fun to snorkel in such clear blue water. (for all you country fans...around the corner is Kenny Chesney's home)<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio2d3zWB2ESE_q09I2KNyTjXqQ-o5pkdShgNSQ3Wk48CDr5EE3HUEa13eaiYfi79wbAZkmuxnx-i0xruRGkE3AjCStzpW4m2iRQ90x0zf9gmvE-CMnCN6NqM_iC-P7_Gpl8F6gXjmqvjqh/s1600-h/carribean+011.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195163176716652818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio2d3zWB2ESE_q09I2KNyTjXqQ-o5pkdShgNSQ3Wk48CDr5EE3HUEa13eaiYfi79wbAZkmuxnx-i0xruRGkE3AjCStzpW4m2iRQ90x0zf9gmvE-CMnCN6NqM_iC-P7_Gpl8F6gXjmqvjqh/s320/carribean+011.jpg" border="0" /></a> Our second stop was St. Kitts. We decided to take a tour of the Island and were lucky enough to get a fun tour guide. He took us through the rain forest, where we saw tons of spider monkeys swinging in the trees and running across the road. We also stopped at a plantation that had beautiful trees and flowers growing everywhere. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQKWOPjKKK9xiMG5gZ19tYHfJ2WUqBLzxh3ChrT7KFSug7pglpWQ4lNv6_TA__g04gPtqTrWASY__XD2HY0u3JLy6HnWpory1KSKh80MIGh-rx2sjIDeZBv91d_efzD6TtaxnkIqu5N1Rs/s1600-h/carribean+026.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195163181011620130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQKWOPjKKK9xiMG5gZ19tYHfJ2WUqBLzxh3ChrT7KFSug7pglpWQ4lNv6_TA__g04gPtqTrWASY__XD2HY0u3JLy6HnWpory1KSKh80MIGh-rx2sjIDeZBv91d_efzD6TtaxnkIqu5N1Rs/s320/carribean+026.jpg" border="0" /></a> Grenada was our next stop. We visited a couple of different waterfalls where Steve did not let me down, as he climed to the highest rock and dove into the water for all to see. He had everyone cheering. This island was so green and beautiful.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZiU-s0_fYrV_Dc8UpXOOLUS0gUu4R9CDeu2Km8jg_51DSs5WL600px2VdEAGTNJAsHNI9KRH03EhM7kbCnljo5VO5xWNTX8_rDclnc62aCL8PFCBVyY6JXn1V7ZUggwqD99f28k_rXIQi/s1600-h/carribean+044.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195163185306587442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZiU-s0_fYrV_Dc8UpXOOLUS0gUu4R9CDeu2Km8jg_51DSs5WL600px2VdEAGTNJAsHNI9KRH03EhM7kbCnljo5VO5xWNTX8_rDclnc62aCL8PFCBVyY6JXn1V7ZUggwqD99f28k_rXIQi/s320/carribean+044.jpg" border="0" /></a> Everything was a baby blue color at Bonaire. The water was so blue and beautiful. This Island had the very best snorkeling. We went to a small Island nearby to snorkel. We were able to swim with a turtle and also saw some amazing coral and fish. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW9bwPbRSSKFBFHirUlytXTgZpKrGtnXqm0Xl7ij8qniNWF6gYqX2z2kHu754y0AVSrIaDkVneX_mCnX1kg_S2X0tpMRaViIQ3JOArtkckqt2vLTcwyeMajy1zvu7B4rHj7NYbTTeGtgFd/s1600-h/carribean+053.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195163189601554754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW9bwPbRSSKFBFHirUlytXTgZpKrGtnXqm0Xl7ij8qniNWF6gYqX2z2kHu754y0AVSrIaDkVneX_mCnX1kg_S2X0tpMRaViIQ3JOArtkckqt2vLTcwyeMajy1zvu7B4rHj7NYbTTeGtgFd/s320/carribean+053.jpg" border="0" /></a> Aruba was just as fun as the rest. We spent most of the day on a beach snorkeling and just enjoying the sun. While we were snorkeling, we found star fishes, sand dollars, an eel and a thousand fish. At times I got a little nervous with so many fish surrounding me. We had a great day.Cortneyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06725391344615977123noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253905384842344568.post-55482701203013187592008-03-29T21:23:00.000-07:002008-03-29T21:45:46.587-07:00Too FunnyThe other day, while I was making dinner, out of the corner of my eye, I see Brinley walking past me. I was busy with dinner so I wasn't paying too much attention until I heard her hit into a wall. By this time I was a little curious to know what she was doing. I walked around the corner only to see her inching her way into the bathroom with her head completly covered with a pair of her undies. I thought it was so funny, I ran to get my camera. By the time I got back to her, she had found her destination and had also discovered a nice size leg hole to see out of.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRHlYYJSEAItWBI-TbFhzpHGm6vdVtMHbAEJbVRo-H2MU0PYT5d2gp-pPvoJ6iZducFN3ZnWBddEbbXDn-VZPvaerBSRrga_tf3lTYwc93Txjb0jJmXXZQBgomWPA0NDANo337TsC2r9-l/s1600-h/braden+007.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183388778063372162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRHlYYJSEAItWBI-TbFhzpHGm6vdVtMHbAEJbVRo-H2MU0PYT5d2gp-pPvoJ6iZducFN3ZnWBddEbbXDn-VZPvaerBSRrga_tf3lTYwc93Txjb0jJmXXZQBgomWPA0NDANo337TsC2r9-l/s200/braden+007.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjewRS-e4VfYk8L1XzpktOtkJseXHBRSBtTuF_awMEukKpDyXw2astFXeraAilbLgorodNquSpreRPpJrlWxIMTYIbrI69eNjZvSxeyXD13-w-mvBf3Zvot8DE46eHyqOGmLzZAUdTqWMub/s1600-h/braden+008.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183388782358339474" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjewRS-e4VfYk8L1XzpktOtkJseXHBRSBtTuF_awMEukKpDyXw2astFXeraAilbLgorodNquSpreRPpJrlWxIMTYIbrI69eNjZvSxeyXD13-w-mvBf3Zvot8DE46eHyqOGmLzZAUdTqWMub/s200/braden+008.jpg" border="0" /></a>Cortneyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06725391344615977123noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253905384842344568.post-79780867912026867102008-03-29T20:42:00.000-07:002008-03-29T21:19:29.449-07:00All about Braden!<div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYtpMm85jvEPIn2Gq9qqu9UzVYyCCivix2MfU9BlqZgzmoxX1Evr6kYyInkupYwnHaJnDQjOgxAIgrGxujRMhi683UwUApM0frXqVPhl3-xaNmlbtqlmIxc9oTcMV5zumuI9IUEvcynnOd/s1600-h/braden+009.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183380789424201538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYtpMm85jvEPIn2Gq9qqu9UzVYyCCivix2MfU9BlqZgzmoxX1Evr6kYyInkupYwnHaJnDQjOgxAIgrGxujRMhi683UwUApM0frXqVPhl3-xaNmlbtqlmIxc9oTcMV5zumuI9IUEvcynnOd/s200/braden+009.jpg" border="0" /></a> Braden is such a cutie! I really think, in the back of her mind, she is constantely scheming..."What can I do to make Brook scream?" or "How long can I stand right in front of the TV without Braden attacking me?" or "How many times will mom let me poke her in the eye before she loses it?" or "how many times can I say a potty word without being sent to time-out?" </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Although her teasing can get extremely annoying and frustrating, Brinley can quickly make you forget why you were even mad in the first place.
